Basement with baseboard removed. The black growth was analyzed by the lab and determined to be Stachybotrys mold

Attic, dryer vent was terminated in the attic and not to the outside. The growth was analyzed by the lab and determined to be mostly penicillium/aspergillius

Inspecting a foreclosure, we found the kitchen sink drain had been broken in the basement allowing sewer gas to accumulate.

A ceiling light hanging and with burned wires. This could be a dangerous situation.

Damaged skylight that had minor leakage inside onto the ceiling.

Note the double wire attached to the circuit breaker in the middle.  This is a common finding called "double tap".

A leaky oil storage tank can be a little bit of a hazard.

Moldy odor, moldy appearance, might be mold.  This room was completely covered with a mixture of stachybotrys and penicillium/aspergillius mold as analyzed by the lab.
